Book Review: Meghna by Sundari Venkatraman

Hello Book Lovers,
If you love the romance genre, Mills & Boon, Bollywood, happy endings,... you need to follow our author friend Sundari Venkatraman.
She has to her credit 3 published books and lots of short stories.

Read the reviews we wrote for her books:
The Malhotra Bride
Double Jeopardy

I loved the Friendly Warning issued by Sundari for the book Meghna. It goes like this:
This book has been written only for the purpose of Entertainment, Entertainment, Entertainment! If you are looking to learn something or improve your lives after reading this work, then this book is not for you. I am not trying to get into competition with the Author Biggies of this world. I wrote this simply for the fun and joy of it. One thing I can promise the reader though: Well proof-read, perfect language that I feel is very important for every book that's written in any tongue.

The Story:
Rahul is the fast, nimble minded young member of the board for a bank. He is quick, intelligent, has a knack for making people agree to his ideas, generous, caring, gentleman-types, added to this, he is drool worthy, an eligible bachelor, millionaire,... But still single.
Reason: Meghna, the grey-lightning eyed sister of his best friend Sanjay whose mother embraced Rahul as her own son. Rahul was in India till he completed his education. He was attracted to 16 year old Meghna and could guess she had a crush for him too. When Meghna & Sanjay's mother expired and coincidentally Rahul had to leave India to join his family in London, he left Meghna guessing if it was Love both of them shared for each other. 6 years later the changed-Rahul is in Meghna's life again making her heart sing. But does she know this guy who blows hot then blows cold. Is the romantic guy one moment, the cheeky-teasing tormentor who runs away from the word-Commitment the next. Where does this love exploring, sensuous, maturing with age story lead to ?

What I liked:
The Warning like I said before. The matured Meghna & the Gentleman Rahul who knows better than to control himself even though he can have his way with his lady love. Reema bhabhi, Rehaan and Sasha, Rahul's father & his drama queen mom :D. All characters dance in my imagination like Meghna at her dance class. The lip-locks a plenty ;), charming ways of Rahul to woe & propose to his Wife, their teasing & provoking each other. The villains in the story (I am not telling you who they are :D )

What I want more:
Meghna needs a rap on her head for some of her actions, makes her look like the immature girl hidden in the guise of a grown up. Rahul, Man up, Man ! Lovely story. Wish I could read it in more comfortable surroundings to enjoy it more. Sundari you need to write more of such-read it & enjoy it stories :)

Disclaimer: I received the PDF version of this book from the author for my honest review.
