Greetings Book Lovers,
I am currently reading Half Pants Full Pants by Anand Suspi and loving every moment of it.
If you see online Anand and PaperBoat, the drinks company is promoting the book in a unique and funny way. PaperBoat's aim to bring our childhood memories alive and if you read Anand's book, it effortlessly does so.
Read Anand's response how he got around doing this.
Read more about the book: Spotlight: Half Pants Full Pants by Anand Suspi
Q: You have been self-promoting the Book very well. The close association with PaperBoat Adverts and the book is evident and done efficiently. How did you approach PaperBoat for Publishing the book?
A: After nearly 5 years of approaching publishing houses and finding no takers, a dear friend suggested that I approach Paper Boat. The book is all about nostalgia and childhood memories and so is the brand. That was the logic. I wrote to Neeraj Kakkar, one of the founders. He read two stories and liked them immensely. He instinctively said that he wants more people to read these tales and offered to publish it. He is an incredibly modest and a magnanimous person. So is his entire team. I don’t say this because they’ve published my book. They are genuinely some of the nicest people you find in the corporate world.
Touch wood, you got the perfect Publisher :) All the best Anand for all your book(s) and ventures.
Do buy the book, read and review it :)
Bye.Takecare
